I agree, actually playing with chiclets (laptop keys) well it's cool for playing on bed (and honestly I broke 6 keys in 3years) , but to have a nice experience with DT, I'll recommend you a red switch keyboard. He Ang Erika wrote:
1. Do not buy any products from Razor.

3. Red keys preferably.
4. Laptop keys are fine but will break.
Yep :O
I actually really dislike Corsair boards for the brushed aluminum finish (it scratches easily and it traps dirt way too much), wobbly stem (experienced this on my K95), and the lack of availability of cheap PBT replacement keycaps, since the one it comes with is wayyyy too thin and becomes kind of unstable when I play with 6 star overdose maps.Attenox wrote:
From what I can say don't get Corsair K70 ffs (it's overall good but the problem is it just randomly freezes while playing and I have no idea why or how to fix it) Get a K65 or Strafe.
Tbh anything with Cherry MX switches should work just fine (for me at least)
Shifting from laptop keys to mechanical keyboard can take a while for some people but overall it will be better, you just need time to adjust to it.Mozgouz wrote:
I used to have Razer Deathstalker which was fairly good for me since I had used a laptop for long time and I use force with my key pressing. However, some vital keys like shift and ctrl started to get less smooth and there started to be more ghosting when playing games, especially ctb. However the force i use to rapidly move back and forth on some ctb maps really gets my fingers tired easily so I thought I'm in need of a new keyboard.
I got Corsair Strafe MX Brown now and have had it for couple days but so far I haven't enjoyed it because the keys dont feel to rebound fast enough. This has caused me to move slower and its really annoying on harder maps. So I might be switching this keyboard to something else after all so what would you guys recommend? I don't know if it matter whether its mechanical or not but at least it must have no ghosting at all.
