Problem Details:
Recently encountered this issue making the game playable for me on Windows 10. The game runs at OpenGL instead of DirectX on fallback but due to Win10's persistent aero it's unplayable due to the input lag. I can still run osu! on the latest builds but the known lag spiking issue is still happening.
osu! version: 20160504.1 (latest)
Error Code
System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.
