This is pretty much expected of any show that provides a finish, since there is nothing to discuss or speculate about. Very few shows actually have that kind of staying power.

because it's still as popular as it was when aired in like... everywhere
the fanbase is really frigging Huge, just look at the activity on Twitter, on Facebook groups, on forums, on boards, Japanese blogs, etc etc

My Favorite character will always be HONOKA! ♥♥♥ Reason why she's my favorite is because I love how she's very determined to keep the school open. She's also funny and cute. ♥ BEST Leader of u's
What got me into Love Live was firstly the graphics. The graphics in this anime blew my mind(But that's my opinion) and other then that, the clothes and cute scenes just gives me a " Kyaaaaa vibe♥ " in every episode.
Hmmm the 2nd season was alright. Love the songs too. Although it's sad that they ended it. I wish theres a 3rd season where they become famous and be a band world wide instead of a school.
My favorite love live song is Start Dash!! ^^
Reason why Love live is the best anime....Well all I'm going to say is Friendship. Everyone in love live faced hardships but in the end that made them got closer to eachother. there's just something in u's just makes me warm inside to have that kind of friendship c:

I watched Love Live! School idol project (the whole anime) (29th of March, 2014 - 4th of July, 2014) because the music was great and whatnot. First season had less drama than the second. Pretty awkward to watch really (not saying it was bad or anything, in fact it was great).
I think I can't watch it with someone LOL.

Anyway. Best girl Kotori. Cute and all. Runner-up: Maki. heh. Second runner-up: Honoka. Yeah, effective leader and all.
Best music: Bokura no LIVE Kimi to no LIFE, Snow halation, Babe Maybe Koi no Button, Love Novels.

Maki and Nico overrated yeaaa. :D

Oh boy, you don't know what you're missing, before season 2, I gathered some of my pals and we marathoned season 1,
We had a blast,, We watched some of the PV, and we ended talking about who's the best girl and what not at 4 am, We're planning to do the same for season 2 next month, this time with around 10 people who Liked first season.

How is enjoying an Anime with friends taking it too far?, We all like Anime, and we all enjoy marathoning stuff, Also My Love for Love Live is big enough to buy merchandising and CD's, Having people to share that feeling is great.

Also this is not the first time we've done that. the best was marathoning Ano Hana with around 10 people, watching most of them holding the tears at the end was priceles.

Wish I could change my Maki vote to Eri *tableflips*

Watched two seasons of the anime, watched every PV of the first singles, and got the entire discography of LL! in my laptop. I think I'm a little freak...

No merchandise bought yet because of money and parents tho (will consider getting one if I can start get money by myself I guess) ):

Also, following the franchise made me like the voice actors a lot too, and I got a lot of cool stuff looking at what have they done (LL! and non-LL! things, like songs and many more) :D

I can say confidently that Love Live! is one of the most influential franchise to my life :P

Hooray for Maki! (she has the most incredible voice :) )

I got into Love Live after I saw AKB0048 and it was pretty good. Start Dash and Snow Halation are my favorites. Honestly, Honoka was my least favorite just because of how dramatic she got (but she did a good job in the end as a leader).

My favourite μ's member is Nozomi. I like how she looks mysterious, calm, knows everything, and caring for others, but actually she's only a girl that wants to have friends :(

I start watching Love Live because I like idols and I think the graphic is good. Then I'm mesmerized by their cuteness :3

But what makes me like Love Live the most is their characters. All of them have distinct personality, and that's what make me attracted to them.

I've spent quite a bit of money on these little poster boxes which give you a random poster of one of the members...Still haven't gotten Maki...

Does everyone here play Love Live School Idol Festival (LLSIF)? I still sometimes play on the Japanese version. Some of the expert songs kill my phone though...

You included in your comment the exact reasons why I hate Nozomi as a member of the group. By setting her up as mysterious and a soothsayer kind of character her boundaries of development as a character are severely limited and by having her as a member of the group the show needs to grind to a halt for her moment in the spotlight, neglecting characters with much better opportunities for development. She would have been fine as a side character or a member of a rival idol group. And seriously she couldn't pull off miko garb at all.

I'm not allowing this topic to rest in peace. I post. Because I'm here. And I'm here for what's here. I'm here for Love Live! because it's the first Anime to change my life completely. No matter what I think about, somehow Love Live! intercepts.
