Problem Details:
earlier today, I was playing osu without a problem. I close the program, and a few hours later, I try and reopen it. Nothing happens besides wineskin taking me to a new screen (thinking it was an update, I updated.) After that, I closed it, and tried to reopen osu. Same screen, but not an update. It tells me that I need to do something with the osu! file. It won't let me, though. I really need help with this, I have spent an hour fiddling around with this but nothing seems to be working.

osu! version: 20141009.7 (latest)

help please :(

First of I have no idea what Wineskin is. Have you tried uninstalling it? Too see if it's just Wineskin causing the problem.

Wineskin is an app that is used to play computer games (not mac compatible) with a mac osx. If I did that, I'd not be able to play anything, even CSGO. but its worth a shot.

Update: My old osu! files work. All of my skins, beatmaps, and such are gone, but it'll do for now. I'd still like a fix, though. Please help. Also, I deleted the wine skin, and it wouldnt even open without it.

Have you tried using an alternetive too Wineskin?

Side Note CSGO is OSX compatible.

I downloaded Wine Bottler and Wine. I do not know if it is working or not, because I am clueless on how to open games THROUGH either. Still waiting for a fix. :/

Didn't work. I don't know how long it'll be until I can get my files back.

The latest build still works fine under OS X for me. I tested this before releasing. Will need error logs.

Alright. I'll try, but I've just chosen to redownload and use the old files. Will do.
