TL;DR version: if you sort maps on the website for a game mode it doesn't really sort for that game mode.
---

Problem Details:
I'll describe what I'm trying to do and why doesn't it work because I believe this explains it best.

Situation #1:
I want to sort osu!standard maps by difficulty. To do this I go here: https://osu.ppy.sh/p/beatmaplist?l=1&r= ... r=0&q=&m=0
Mode: osu! Filter: Difficulty (down)
Desired result: osu!standard maps sorted by the difficulty of osu!standard maps
Actual result: maps like https://osu.ppy.sh/s/22115 show on the top of the list. This map has no high difficulty osu!standard diffs, but the CtB diff pushes it up, despite using osu! mode filter.

Situation #2:
I want to sort CtB maps by difficulty, including autoconverts by their converted difficulty levels. I go here: https://osu.ppy.sh/p/beatmaplist?m=2&r=0&g=0&la=0
Mode: Catch the Beat Filter: Difficulty (down)
Desired result: maps would be sorted by the difficulty of either map default (if it's a CtB-specific map) or by the map CtB autoconvert.
Actual result: only maps with CtB-specific difficulties show. I have no way to find autoconvert sorting.

Honestly personally in other modes I wouldn't care but in CtB autoconverts are actually most of the maps people play so this is kind of a thing. It would be nice if there was a filter for include/don't-include autoconverts and at the same time if the osu filter was not affected by other-mode charts.

I have faith that Millhiore will be able to fix it.
