Osu crashes on startup [resolved]

Hello
As soon as i open my Osu it just crashes and gives me the restart and quit screen
the error in the details tab is as follows
System.MissingFieldException: Field not found: 'osu.Interfacing.OsuHelper.instance'.
at #Lc.#eTb.#Br()
at #Wo.#Xo.#Br()
at #Yc.#4c.#It()
at #Wo.#Vo.#0qb(String , Boolean )

Same here. The update broke Osu! completely on my computer(Win8) and my gf's computer(Win7)

Deleting osu!framework.dll Solves the problem.

DO NOT start updater after deleting the file. Simply start the game.

How do you delete osu!framework.dll?

Simply go to your Osu folder (usually C:\Program Files\osu!\) and spot the osu!framework file, then right click and delete it.

Note the Folder can also be in: "C:\Program Files (x86)\osu!\" on some computers (or if you chose another folder, then its there)
