I got a new touch screen laptop and it runs on windows 8 and whenever I go to tap anything it doesn't respond. It only responds once I move my finger, after I move my finger it reads the input. This is obviously impossible to do every time rendering play impossible with my touch screen. I've run through and disabled most of the issues caused by windows 8 but this is the last thing I can't fix no matter what. If anyone else has a solution to this please do tell. I ran the viziblr fix my pen tablet program to fix most of the issues. http://viziblr.codeplex.com/releases/view/71703 All other applications and programs work fine with the exception of osu!

Go into control panel -> pen/touch and make sure you have double click / right click / click and hold all disabled. I'm not sure which one is causing your issue but you could probably trial and error to find which are okay to leave enabled.

I found the problem, I had to disable the double click / right click / click and hold like you said, but I also had to Enable OS TabletPC Support. I kind of disappointed osu! doesn't have multi touch input. My laptop can handle it but the game can't. I know there's no need for it for standard ranked but there are some maps out there that would be fun with multi touch input. Any way to enable it or no?
Multi-touch is not supported as of yet. I already have support for it in the arcade version of osu!, so potentially it may end up in the public build in the near future.

Maybe I am just not looking in the right place but how would you disable the double-tap feture? I can disable the hold to right click but it does not give me the same option to disable double-tap. I am running a windows 8.1 on a HP Pavailion TouchSmart 14 Sleekbook.
