If you have a problem with the osu client itself, please direct yourself to Help, that subforum is dedicated to helping players and their issues with the game, such as lag issues, mouse or tablet problems, any tech problems to do with osu
For the players who have a hard time actually playing the game, such as finding it difficult to aim or read maps, then visit Gameplay & Rankings. That subforum is basically the Help subforum, but for gameplay, so if you ever want advice on how to improve your circle clicking skills, visit that subforum.
In the scenario where you have questions about mapping, storyboarding, or want to find some mods for your pending map, this is what the Beatmap category is for
- General Questions is the place where to go to if you have any questions about mapping in general. Want to know how to export songs, need help finding data about the song? Ask away here
- Storyboarding, this subforum is where people go to if they want to learn how to storyboard their Beatmaps, not much to be said here, just go there if you have any topic about Storyboarding you want to discuss
- Modding Queues is the hot spot of the Beatmap world, in this subforum there are a large variety of queues covering every single gamemode that offer their help to pending maps, if you're looking for someone to mod your map then this is the place to go
If you want a fresh new look for your userpage or just would like one of those stylish avatars, then visit the Art subforum. In that place, osu's talented gfx artists are willing to spend their time creating art just for you upon your request! They can create many things like avatars, userpage banners, signatures, or even beatmap banners
