I'm not quite sure how it works myself, but those without supporter seem to only get 1/3 of their posts counted, sometimes even less. I think it has to do with how many characters your posts are, like you have to have at least 50 words to be counted if you don't have supporter.Jellyblob56 wrote:

That's also why I had so many posts counted even before I bought supporter, because my posts tend to exceed the limit.
Once you bought it you should be fine though, even after it expired. Buying it for someone else works too, I think.

When binwer was a BAT-member each of his posts counted thrice, that's why he got so many.

Another great example of this is peppy, the creator of the game.
All of his posts count tenfold, he doesn't really have 17000 posts, just 1700.

To clear all misconceptions about this topic once and for all... your post counts correlate with how much pp you have; how often you play; if you have supporter; how much money you've given peppy overall and also your ranking in std.
Not one single thing by itself equals to your posts being counted but all of them together in their entirety. It's a very strict and complicated algorithm which allows peppy to single out which of us is a sheltered enough dickwad to smooch off money from.
It is also because of this system the reason as to why the highest, top ranking players are limited in the amount in which they can post in forums as one post from them would most likely yield them at the very least, 10 post count, breaking the purpose of the system.
Some fools say it's a myth, some say it's just hearsay but they're honestly idiots. I can personally vouch for this being true as I myself used to have 1000+ post count. Sometime during last year however, the system was put in place and me being trash in the game; having low pp; having ran out of supporter and the fact that I stopped playing the game all together resulted in my post count being reduced to the mere 300s.
There are however ways to go around this algorithm to increase your post count or restrict how much each of your posts increase your post count and it allows users to be able to manipulate their post count as they please.
We do not and are not allowed to talk about this though as the idea of manipulating post count is taboo and would be a direct bitch slap to peppy himself. You can ask and plead whoever you want but they won't answer as the first rule of post count manipulation is we don't talk about post count manipulation. As you see, several posts you see before mine is them hinting at its existence but I myself do not fall to this method so I am free to inform you through a loophole. Despite this loophole however, I am not allowed to tell you the method as that would be an infringement of the code that you must recite and promise to yourself when you are told.
Some people may dismiss and tell you that such a method does not exist but I assure you that it does as I can show you proof by increasing my post count by a certain, yet realistic amount. The people that do are a certain group of people that wish to keep the method as secret as possible and preventing more people from learning of it.
If you think me telling you all this may risk you and I from getting found out by the mods and being banned, do not worry. The majority of users in the forum do not like reading long, drawn out posts so it is very easy to hide messages you don't want other people to know by making long posts such as these.

as EneT said, since money and skill are the only things that matter (apart from having a special role, like being a forum mod, or QAT), buying supporter is the fastest way to get your post count up, since gaining skill takes a much longer time.
Who the fuck needs post count? All the cool kids have less than 10
