00:21:229 - Since this song is around 1:02 Minutes, Breaks isn`t really necessary after this spinner, continue add note/slider after spinner.
00:48:230 - Remove the repeated and turn to Slider, then add note in 00:48:230. Like it gives kick on this note,

00:58:542 - I think no need for x0.5 slowdown speed, might screw the DS settings. Hard is fine for this.

i'm a newbie at both mapping and modding so you could just take a look at rank maps' hard,mine is poor...
just a little suggestion that random jumps in insane is ok~maybe it brings big changes. i'll try it after these days if you replaced~

Ok, very short mod because this mapset is so good :D

I just have a few things to say.

  • - First, in the Demente difficulty, at 00:24:230 (12,1) I would switch these 2 notes on the timeline so that it is like this:




    Then, obviously change their positions to make it look good again.

    - Second, it is not that big of a change, but the offset sounds better to me at 224, so change it if you want.
Other than these, I absolutely love this mapset and please rank it! :D

I changed offset as earlier as possible, so more earlier will be too early.

  2. 00:34:167 (1) - I think it best not to NC there to keep it consistent, like you did on Hard and Insane
  3. 00:41:480 (6,7) - Hmm that stacking kinda out of place imo, unless the trumpet sounded like this 00:33:230 (1,2) - and 00:34:167 (1,2) - a stacking will fit perfectly. So maybe better not to stacking 00:41:480 (6,7) - ?
  4. 00:45:230 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - That consecutive long circles might be troublesome to beginner player, maybe change some into 1/1 slider might be better there, so it'll play easier
[Hard]

Good set, but the insane rather too hard imo with big spacing and jumps, despite the hard is rarely have any jump or big jumps, so maybe you can consider lowering the jumps on insane, good luck!

  3. 00:18:230 (1,2,3,4) - This is a good idea, but make the slider's head and tail perpendicular to eachother. So you may need to remap that part of the song. And I don't know if this was intended or not but the sliders are not perfect, they don't perfectly blanket each other. Sorry if I sound like a perfectionist, but I believe making things "perfect" can make the map ranked easier. Try reversing the slider and use the approach circle as a guide, then reversing it again.

  2. I see the uneven blanket thing going on again. Just keep an eye on your blankets.

    This is very important. It is pretty much what makes people distinguish between 1/1 notes and 1/2 notes. That's what pishi taught me :D
  4. 00:53:480 (5,6) - This is confusing, at least to me. I'm like "oh hey (5) is going to be a reverse slider" and then i lose. try making (5) a reverse slider and (6) a hitcircle. Movethem to the right so that there are no jumps. like this:

That's all for now. It's already late at night here so I'm going to do Demente and some probably some more on Hard later.

  4. 00:53:480 (5,6) - This is confusing, at least to me. I'm like "oh hey (5) is going to be a reverse slider" and then i lose. try making (5) a reverse slider and (6) a hitcircle. Movethem to the right so that there are no jumps. like this: done like an image

  3. Remove “game” and “instrumental” from the tags. “Game” is already in the source and “instrumental” will be added to the genre when ranked.
  4. I think the metadata should be this:
    Basically you have to change the I in “in” to a capital letter and the source has to be Shrek 2: The Game OST, but I’m not 100% sure so I suggest you check with a BN that’s an expert at metadata.

Normal:
  1. The approach rate of 5 will possibly be an issue for this diff since it’s the easiest diff. I remember one of my maps getting unranked because of this. Change the HP drain rate to 3 and the overall difficulty to 3 as well, and then change the approach rate to 4.
  2. 00:09:230 (1,1) –I feel the gap between the spinner and the next note might be too short, so beginners won’t have enough recovery time to hit the next object after the spinner. In my opinion, it’s not really necessary to place a spinner there. My advice would be to remove the spinner and map that section out. But I guess if you really want to keep the spinner then just end it here: 00:10:730 –
  3. 00:38:480 (7,1,2) –I would rather place these notes like this to avoid the overlapping with 00:37:355 (4,5) –
    Hopefully, you’ll understand what I did there. >.<
  4. 00:47:855 (8,2) –Try to make a perfect stack here. Looks a bit untidy if you don’t.
  5. 00:51:980 (2,1) -^, (1) on the head of (2). You may have to move previous notes around for the stack to work.

  1. 00:09:042 –Place a note here since there’s clearly a beat. You can then place the circles like this:
  2. 00:13:917 (1) –I never like double repeats really >.< Especially when there are better options. Maybe remove the repeat and place a slider there. Like this:

Could see you were using lots of zigzag objects like 00:12:792 (2,3,4,5,6) - in Hard. Personally this felt something old-fashioned pattern which suits in 2008. Not bad at all, but maybe you could make such patterns more trendy at your future mapping!

I am kinda surprised because of 00:48:230 - that section being more dense on the Hard difficulty than the pattern used on the Demente difficulty. Also, it might be might but the AR feels a bit too high on Demente. But I'm just being too picky.
