Rules

Tournaments Rules:

This is an osu! standard tournament.
Everyone in the staff except the mapset selectors can participate.
It works as a 4v4 tournament.
The maximum amount of teams in this tournament is 64.
It'll start with a group stage with 16 pools of 4 teams (considering 64 slots has been taken.) where the first two teams of each pools will advance to the Ro32. (Round of 32.)
Groups will be decided in a live drawing.
This a DE (Double Elimination) bracket, meaning loser bracket will be present.
If after 15 minutes, a team doesn't show up, it will be disqualified. If neither show up, one be selected to pass the round with !roll.
If a member of a team can't play for any reason, the match will be postponed or played 3v3 if the other team agrees.
If a player gets disconnected, if the referee judges it neccessary, a rematch will be take place. If the player just quit/ragequit on purpose he will be disqualified and the match will keep going as 4v3.
You may switch ONLY one player per map.
The mappool contains 6 nomod picks, 3 Hardrock / Hidden / DoubleTime / FreeMod picks. If a team picks a map with a mod he cannot pick another map with the same mod in early rounds (Best-Of-7).
The mappool contains 6 nomod picks, 4 Hardrock / Hidden / DoubleTime / FreeMod picks starting with Bo11.
TieBreaker has FreeMod enabled.
Losers Bracket Round 3 and 4 are using Round Three's mappool.
Losers Bracket Round 5 and 6 are using Round Four's mappool.
Losers Bracket Round 6 and Losers Finals are using Finals' mappool.
Starting with rounds BO9 (Best-Of-9), the same mod cannot be picked twice IN A ROW, meaning you can pick DoubleTime, then NoMod and again DoubleTime.
In order to pick a map from the Freemod category, both teams must provide 2 players that play with a mod. These two players must have Hidden and/or HardRock as the mods enabled. (The conditions that need to be met are as follows: One player must have Hidden enabled | One player must have HardRock enabled, If one player has HD AND HR, the other specified player must still play with one of the mods.)
Once a Team picked a map, they cannot change their pick, so be careful and double-check your picks!
Before the official start, each team is free to put one warm-up map of their choice.
Matches can be played any day of the week. You just have to post in this thread, announcing when you will play after agreeing with the other team. Exemple: Team A vs Team B at 10AM UTC+0. (Don't forget the timezone.)
Keep in mind that we will attribute a specific timezone for each Team. If 4 players in a Team are European and have as timezones: UTC+0, +1, +2, +3, we will consider UTC+2 as the timezone of your team, pick players that lives far away from the timezone given to your Team at your own risks.
If both team are unable to play their match, a winner will be determined with !roll. (In special cases, a team may be disqualified.)
If a team cannot play at the time they announced, contact any referee or Prophet/me.
Group Stage will be BO7 (best-Of-7): first team to achieve 4 points will win the match.
Ro32 (Round of 32) with Losers Bracket Round 1 to 3 will be BO7 (Best-Of-7): first team to achieve 4 points will win the match.
Ro16 (Round of 16), Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals with Losers Bracket Round 4 to 6 will be BO9 (Best-Of-9): first team to achieve 5 points will win the match.
Winners Finals and Grand Finals with Losers Semi-Finals and Losers Finals will be BO11 (Best-Of-11): first team to achieve 6 points will win the match.
If any DCs looks shady/suspicious, referee must report it in the next second to me. (Disconnecting on purpose before a very hard part, having enough points to win the map if the questionable player does not fail.)
Chatlogs will be monitored and questionable materials can be reported by either team and are subjected to review by the tournament committee. For parts that are obviously in direct violation of game rules (i.e. racist comments, personal threats, etc.), a report will be filed to relevant osu! staff. Otherwise, referee reserves the right to deal out punishment in the following order: (1. Warning -> 2. Forbidding the violating player to participate in the current match -> 3. Forbidding the violating team to participate in the current match and thus resulting in a default win of the opposing team)
Tournament committee reserves the right to the final interpretation of all rules stated and not.

Match Rules:

The referee creates the room and chooses the name for it. The first pick is decided by the referee with !roll (!roll Team A and !roll Team B) and then the host is given back and forth between both teams.
The game mode will be set as Team Vs.
If a player fails the map, his score will be nullified and reviving does not nullify his score.
If a player get DC'd before the first third of the match, if a FC from him would've changed the outcome of the match, a rematch is allowed.
During the second third and last third, if the player who DC'd, still held a FC, and a complete FC would've changed the outcome, a rematch is allowed, nonetheless, if his actual score changes the outcome of the match, his score is actually counted with his team's score.
If a player who DC'd once, DCs once again, his score is nullified and any other DC from him/her would lead to no-rematch.
If a player from the same team DCs as well, it CAN lead to a rematch following the rules above, if a player from his team who already DC'd, DCs once again, it would lead to no rematch as his teammate's score was nullified in the first place.
A map who has been rematched cannot be played again UNLESS the opponent team gets a DC and then leads a third rematch.
Each team has 2 rematch allowed maximum.
If 2 players from the same team DCs, no rematch will be allowed. Even if the opponent team gets one DC.
If there is a DC from both teams, we will allow a rematch. If the DC'd players witnesses their first DC in the match, both team will "lose" one possibility to rematch afterwards.
Players MUST use either stable/beta client as it's their responsabilities to ensure their network connection is stable.
RESPECT the referee's decision.
Referees aren't allowed to click even one circle.
The room will be locked.
No warm-ups longer than 4 minutes.
After the end of the match, the referee will post the title of the match and a link to the /mp/ history of that lobby and the final score in this thread.
Teams have to announce what maps they are picking in the multiplayer chat before they pick.

ok, just want to confirm about the format of the grand final (for the good sake of the winning teams), as we know the OCWT7 final lasts for 6 hours, which is just feaking horrible, so how will the grand final be treated this time? winning team have 1 point ahead in a bo11, or two separate match? will the grand final mappool be renewed?

If the team who went through the loser bracket wins 6 games (Bo11) against the team from the winner bracket in the Grand Finals, the bracket will be reseted and then a new match will be played with the same mappool. (I'll do my best for Teams to not take 20 minutes per pick for it to not last 6 hours, don't worry!)
