[resolved] osu! crashes after changing to new skin

Problem details:
Ok so I asked my friend for her skin, and she sent me the link. So I got it downloaded, put it in my skins folder.
Later whenever I try to play a map, it will just lowkey freeze.
If you need extra info, my computer is a macOS mojave 10.14.5
The skin is called "Komori- Ryugumink Komori's Styl".

Did you only try testing this on one single map, or did you try other maps as well?

I'm going to quote what I said in a post a week ago because I have a very strong feeling it applies here in some form. I mentioned some specific elements in this post, but since I don't have your skin I can't say for sure if it's the same thing that is causing issues for you or some other element. If you'd be able to provide the download link to your skin, that would be great. The key point though is the second paragraph. https://osu.ppy.sh/community/forums/posts/7193445

Basically what you're looking to accomplish here is finding what element, or multiple elements, in your skin are causing issues by slowly removing things. Since I can't replicate this issue at all, I can't really do that for you, I can just guess based on the image resolutions. Perhaps someone else with access to a mac can replicate the issue with your skin and find the cause.

And yes, I tried other maps too.

EDIT: Thanks for the help! I had to delete A LOT of photos (500+), and it worked now.
No wonder it crashed xD ty so much!

Ah yes, this skin has a very large menu-back and play-skip animation. At the very least, you should be able to keep a few of the images from the animation in your skin folder so you don't need to use the default element instead (assuming you just deleted all of them). If you don't care about it too much then it doesn't really matter though, glad the issue is fixed.
