[resolved] Can VPN get me banned?‬ · forum‬

So I'm using NordVPN and it gives me a new server in Sweden everyday and I'm gonna assume that it gives me a different IP everytime as well. Can I get banned on osu! for having a new IP everyday? I'm gonna keep it turned off until I'm sure.

I assume it can't get you banned but you shouldn't provoke it. Why do you use it anyway, though?

For security and region blocks (Youtube videos blocked in some countries and such).

There is nothing in the rules that states you can't use a VPN. If you want to be sure, send an email to accounts@ppy.sh just to let them know what's going on.

I play about half a year every day with VPN on (ProtonVPN) no problems with it
