Hello everyone, I ran into a problem, two weeks ago, I put Osu, installed the skins there, put the maps, and then the next day I turned on the computer, but the wasp did not. From the wasp only remained a label that can be removed, and so I tried 2-3 times, she just removes herself. What can be done with this?

osu!'s default installation location is C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\osu!. You should try running the game with the executable inside that folder, instead of trying to use a shortcut.

Do you know where the installation path is? Because then you can drag the osu.exe file there and just drop it into the desktop or drag the .exe file onto the desktop icon. If i can understand it correctly something removed your icon and the path to find the osu executable.

There is no wasp folder at all, it is deleted, and only after restarting the computer

See, I started this problem after reinstalling Windows 10, before everything was fine, and I get to put the wasp on ssd, the disk is clear if not only the OSU was deleted, but the rest of the games are not deleted after the computer is restarted or the computer is turned off, but the wasp is removed . Which is strange, I checked it several times and when it is installed I cannot even change where it puts the game to me, it automatically puts on ssd, with this I can say I can safely play all day in OSU and then the next day it is gone, not the folder is nothing, it is deleted from Windows, or erasing it, or whatever is wrong, there are no viruses. And if there were not only the wasp was deleted, but all the files are in place. I have Windows 10 1903

That is the default location but you may have chosen a different location when you originally installed the game. The game will not just randomly delete itself. So unless you have some program on your computer that is deleting your files without your knowledge, or you happened to install the game to a temp directory that gets cleared when you restart, you probably just need to look for it somewhere else.

I do not know, today I once again try to set it to change the path. But I know that it is removed not in terms of the market but in terms of the game itself.

I found what the problem is when the wasp is updated, why it rushes into this folder and here you can’t install any skin and you can’t run it

I'm pretty sure the location it is being installed to is a temp directory, as I thought. I'm not sure why osu! would be installed to that location unless you explicitly specified it in the installer. I think that might be something you need to look into.

Try downloading the installer one more time from https://osu.ppy.sh/home/download, move the file outside of your downloads folder (to your desktop or something), then run it and let it install.

Yes, just like from the very beginning, I thought that where the installer himself is there and the game itself is very strange for me, but he asked me by default on C: \ Users \ makes \ AppData \ Local ...
