Hi Promasta420,

Sadly i can only help you with one thing and thats regarding the ''disappearance'' of your beatmaps.
-When you go in game hit f5.
-It should ask you if you want to do a ''full process of your beatmaps''.
-Hit 1 or click on ''Let's do it'' It should start processing all of you beatmaps.
-Maybe after this some beatmaps will reappear in your beatmap list.
Also one thing about your game crashing when alt-tabbing, maybe try running your game in windowed mode ?

Let me know if something helped !
Kind regards,

The thing is that my settings also don't save so when i load back into the game its all messed up and my beatmaps do come back when i press f5 but i have to do it everytime now. Not sure how i can fix this and im really bummed out

move the osu!<PCname>.cfg out of the folder, set your settings and restart osu maybe the file is broken ( path should look something like this > C:\Users\PCName\AppData\Local\osu! you can also go into osu and type in ''Folder'' < easier way

If that doesn't work then it might be due to insufficient folder permissions, try to repair them at the bottom of the osu folder ( Repair Osu! )

Thanks for all the help so far :D Now my beatmaps are saved as well as my settings. The only problem i have left is not being able to alt+tab so i can download beatmaps since i am currently not an osu! supporter

No problem, :)

-I dont know if you tried running Osu! in : borderless window or borderless fullscreen or windowed mode maybe that could help.
Thats the only solution i have for this.
If this doesnt work maybe someone else can help you :)

If you're on windows 10, Windows key--->Configuration(the gear)--->System--->Focus Assist--->Disable everything in that tab.

Couldnt find the Focus Assist tab, i do not have focus assist on though

By default, it's always on. Or if you have done any windows updates sometimes it turns back on.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Click on System.
  3. Click on Focus assist.
You should be able to find it, Just double check that everything is off.
