Surprise! There is no surprise.

To be honest I think Russia is better off with Putin, but the rest of the world is better off without him. Actually, Russia is not known for it's stability without a tight power grip, so I am not even sure about that.

I really love Narumi Toa. Like, a lot. Like, a whole lot. You have no idea. I love her so much that it is inexplicable, and I'm ninety-nine percent sure that I have an unhealthy obsession. I will never get tired of installing Gentoo Linux with -o3 -march=native -flto optimization flags on an AMD Ryzen 9950X bare metal using a fleet of 8 same specced machines for distcc. It is my life goal to meet up her with her in real life and have her configure my arch install for me

There's no use in trying to force "serious threads", it's not going to make anybody care about world politics any more than they already did.

As for Putin, I don't really know. He's a bit of a dictator, but China is more concerning than Russia though, with it's removing of term limits which is a throwback to the communist era. China is a shitty country and continues to be a shitty country, however its gaining in prominence as the asian population rises into the middle class and threatens the economic and strategic hegemony of the USA and allies. In technology, China threatens silicon valley, and as you might guess, digital technology holds increasing strategic importance in the modern era.
