ahh shit
I think what made me most nostalgic was the "Animusic" CD series thing
Once I found it on youtube I was fairly content, knowing I wouldn't be bugged quite as much by me wondering what my childhood was like. I still kinda wish I could remember just a bit more about what life was like for me.
Here are the ones that stuck out more:
1.
"Pogo Sticks" -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmqaLb8_SvkThis was probably the one song I had stuck in my head over these past 10 or so years. I forgot everything about what it was called, but despite my foggy memory, I managed to still remember the sound of this song, along with its memorable visuals.
The funniest thing about this one is it reminds me of how similar it sounds to StarCraft 1's Terran music. StarCraft was probably my favorite childhood game.
2.
"Heavy Light" -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XNvURyFXPYHuh. I didn't remember this as well but I did somehow retain the memory of its visuals. I had started to delve more into electronic music because of this one. Somehow the strange "New-Age" synths make this an even more nostalgic experience.
3.
"Pipe Dream" -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyCIpKAIFyoI definitely remember this one, mostly because the camera kept rotating around everything and that the xylophone thing was one of the instruments used in its more grandiose moments, during the chorus of the song. I think this one fascinated me back then because I used to be really into creating large systems of machines and stuff so I'd play with marble runs, lego structures, and other stuff.
Yeah, these basically made up a relatively large portion of my childhood memory.
