Taiko Drum Master has apparently become an annual thing on Wii. So too has a new entry in the series leaking out through a retailer.

HMV Online is the offender this year. The site posted a listing for Taiko no Tatsujin Wii Minna de Party 3-dai-me. If I were the guy who had to translate these games into English, I'd probably write this as "Taiko Drum Master Wii Everyone's Party 3rd" ... or something to that effect.

Well, the rpg in DS3 could have been a lot more diverse, and many things could be added. Like poison notes, healing items, invisibility cloaks... the list goes on. It was also really annoying traveling across the mainland looking for secret items with monsters popping up every half second. A lot of things didn't make sense in the rpg either (how did Ponko's father end up being the bad guy?), but that's Namco for you.

I guess it's mainly an issue of lacks, as so many other things could be added. But I guess rhythm games and rpg's don't mix in all that well, for me anyways.

The boss fights were fun though.

Those new Im@s songs in TnT 14 makes me bored because of the so-so songs and the bad mapping.

But Miku? I don't think Supercell's songs are bad as a trash. You hate them Only for it's Miku's songs? Those Miku songs should be stayed, and I'm looking forward to Touhou songs for new Taiko games...
(PS: I think Melt is really a awesome mapping for me... It's not a joke)

Edit1: It is said that a game center in Canada bought a TnT 13 upgrade pack?

@Lokamp: Thanks. And doesn't everyone want Punishment on a home console anyways? :P Actually, I found BRS quite fun to play. Good notes and fast pacing. Better than relations from Taiko DS3. Idolm@ster songs are really starting to wear thin (the last good ones were shiny smile and Kirame Kirari)

How the heck are they going to fit 4 note scrolls on a single screen? Along with the spirit gauge and stuff.

I personally think it's fine 2P. Unless there are going to be 4P tourneys now...

I have no idea. 4 note scrolls would take up the whole screen already. And I really mean the whole screen :/

Hmm... I think I can still do a favour for an ex-colleague :3
But can I suggest to wait more for shunyuu's ranking? If the rumored Inner Oni mode will appear on Taiko 14, someone else can add it later, no?

Plus, can I supply the Ura mode of Kikyoku, with the backgrounds? I guess I can find somethin' good ;3

Confirmed Wii3 release date as December 2nd~

We also have an official site for Wii3,although there's nothing
much to see there..all we have is some screenshots and a short vid showcasing
the new theme song and the 4-player multi.
Damn,it's one crowded screen ya got thar,765.

Wii3 also features some weird mini-game-normal-gameplay mashup thingamajig,
set in dreamland.So yeah.

Just read the new Taiko Time blogs, and noticed this tidbit on the Nanadaime page:
The final game modifier, the Reverse mode, was added here.
"Master mode" was also renamed to "Doron mode" in Nanadaime.

Guys,have a look at this.

Somebody managed to put a custom notechart
plus music into iPhone taiko,
an official taiko game.

I have no idea how he did it,but I'm
surely amazed.Bricks were shat.

And the song's well-known for its difficulty
in jubeat.So yeah.
