Next week's blog is the Taiko DS3 special edition :D

I hope the RPG mode lets me unlock songs fast. Me wanty Hataraku.

Also, song list updated. Need to fix Zeihen...

Kimagure Romantic, Nihon no MIKATA, Bolero, Mata Ai Mashou, Monster Hunter Medley, Katamari on the Rocks (Taiko 13 edition) still have to be mapped...argh.

They DO look weird with sandals on; for one thing this is the first time I've seen Don and Katsu wear something on their feet.

Perhaps the guy/gal playing DS3 first-hand haven't unlocked them yet..
after all,right now we have only 45 known songs out of 50.
There's still a chance for Yumeiro Coaster and the rest to get in DS3

BTW...small sample for the new garyoutensei song:

I'm sure the touch screen can handle it. I think. When EkiBEN first cane out I was sure the screen would break, but it didn't. Now to push it to new limits.

Dammit. X-DAY and Yumeiro Coaster aren't in, that means :| But that also means no repeat songs so me cool. X-DAY and Yuugao can be exempted.

ALso, I keep forgetting what mode you unlock for getting 30/50 crowns in Kantan...? I think that's the only thing I'm missing in all the games that aren't DS2 since I never bothered playing Kantan.

Regarding the screenshots lately, it seems that if my deduction is correct, the player only needs to do 2 more things to unlock the last songs:

-get 99999 counter
-100 crowns

Oh, one more thing. I don't think the three Youkai Ranbu songs are included in the 50. They're probably only playable through the story mode.

For 30 crowns in Kantan, it's........Yonpai mode.

I rarely ever get the chance to buy DS carts here in HK,so I've got
no choice but to download it.

Personally,I hope Tenyou no Mai will be a good song with a good(read:not-sucky) map.
If it turns out to be an awesome song with a failtastic map...expect some raging from me.

Eerrr, I think I got Yonbai in the games by clearing crowns on Oni...? D:

AFAIK I keep unlocking Yonbai everywhere :/

Also, err my sound card is some sort of crap thus making Stereo mix recording fail, and the Nicovideo version of Dororon Girl is only 96KBPS, which is pretty shit quality. Can someone get me a decent version of Dororon Girl plz >_<

It is said that Hataraku has been found as Yokai Rambu. And Yokai Rambu No.80/No.180 are special song too.

Though it hasn't been confirmed, we can remove this song.

Edit1:Now the 48th song has been found.

It seems like 地獄の大王, a song similar to 闇の魂.

Errr, as far as I know it's NOT Yonbai; I always have Yonbai on all of my games, and I never play Kantan...

I need to confirm later which one I have. So far I have Doron, all the speed mods, Kanpeki... I think there's one more I might be missing or something. Maybe 2, I don't know, I don't remember wtf, I don't have my DS with me atm, and I'm not at home.

Yes, after you beat the main RPG mode, you're taken to the tower. Jigoku no Daiou is unlocked through there, I think.

When ever I try to download graveyarded maps, I get this...
"You can't download graveyarded maps, sorry!"

And lots of song in this list is graveyarded songs, for example, lots of aquabluu's and zekira's submitted maps...

WHAT. I thought they were supposed to be downloadable! Dammit I'm going to have to ungrave Rotter Tarmination, Carnivorous Carnival, Yuujou Pop, Ryougen no Mai and DON'T CUT...but in the meantime I could put it on as a forum download till I have the time to continue work on them.

EDIT: peppy has spoken about the graveyarded maps thing and he did say he was going to take some action, but he's planning to implement some leniency on some of the more 'popular' graveyarded maps, but he's soon going for the deletion of really old graveyarded maps. I'm not sure how he'll implement this, but just to be safe, post a reply on all the Taiko maps in the graveyard NOW plz lol

Got a clean rom,then patched it via 2ch's openpatch~

Playing right now~~
and Sweet Lay definitely is a sequel to mint tears,
although it sounds more lively,the vocals are just as whispery
as before lol

I submitted Rotter Tarmination, and I'll start to get mod about middle of the July.
The problem is... DIFFICULTY SPREAD.
Basically one mapset can't include more than 6 maps and 2 Insanes, and these are not exceptions with Taiko maps.
Seems these rules aren't applied that tightly, but it can be problem if you want to make map with inner Oni ranked......

For example, I submitted Rotter and I want to make 3 Standard(N/H/I) + 3 Taiko(M/O/iO), but Oni is almost always I, and Muzukashii tend to receive over 4.5 star rate difficulty and get I. And this makes difficulty spread N/H/I/I/I/I. Even if muzukashii is regarded as hard, there are already 3 insanes so it cannot be ranked. (but as I said, these rules aren't applied that tightly......)
If this happens, I think I'll exclude insane, and this makes lame mapset which can't satisfy standard osu players. That difficulty spread rule is the biggest obstacle of Taiko mapping.
(Anyway, I'll keep hard under 4.45 star so it can be shown as 'hard'.... so it won't be N/I/I/I/I/I)

Well, actually I think I'll take some of aquabluu's graveyarded maps somedays... to make them ranked.

I think I might need to slow down on playing this, since I'm just going to do everything all over again when my original copy of this game comes over, and I have no idea how long it will take! Hahahahahaha

Maybe I'll just unlock Oni and just look for some special charts here first, then I'll stop for a while... not going to work on Youkai Daikessen on this ROM.

EDIT: ...I don't see no YMCK song... wtf 765, you put YMCk on the guest list then you tell players to UNLOCK it; what if there are players who introduced themselves to Taiko all because there's a YMCK song...? >_>
