[confirmed] osu! crashing randomly due to bloom

Problem Details:
When I was playing this map [Nogard's Nightmare] with HalfTime and opened the chat, osu!, well... it crashed. (see first picture below)

I didnt bother to report since osu! crashed randomly sometimes.

BUT

it crashed again while missing the first four notes in multiplayer with this song [Hard]. (the second picture)

What do I do?

In the settings go to fps limiter and set the FPS to unlimited. Its a weird glitch that when your fps drops drastically Osu! will crash. Also if you can on the graphics card then optimize osu so that your graphics card gets all the "up to date" and native resolutions etc.

I always have my FPS set to unlimited and all of my pc stuff graphics cards, displays, OS and everything up to date. O-o

Since its a FPS glitch,try and set it either to 240,120,or Vsync (60FPS)

osu! crashed again today, appearently with the exact same error when doing the exact same thing. (#1)

Try disabling Shader effects from the options menu and see if that solves your issue. Also please post the contents of your runtime.log file which is found in the Logs folder inside the osu! installation folder here.

If you want here's the steps to replicate it.
1. Go to the Nippontradamus song.
2. Use half-time on the Nogard's Nightmare diff.
3. Open the chat console as soon as you see the spinner
3. instant crash :o

also works with other songs that have short startup (intro)

Also if you disable shaders and play the map without opening the chat console, this will happen if you spin in circles without clickin.



Opening the chat console however wont crash it.
