Problem Details: when i drag beatmaps such as https://osu.ppy.sh/s/331116 or https://osu.ppy.sh/s/93523 it says invalid name in a small window and a very pixelated font with a circle and X in front of "invalid name"
does anyone know why?
i dont know how to post a screenshot for some reason it doesnt work please help :(

Video or screenshot showing the problem:

osu! version: 20150414.2

Try to move the .osz files to your "Songs" folder while osu! is closed, then open osu! again. They should be processed when you go to beatmap listing screen.

Then maybe you have some kind of permissions issue, and I don't know much about Mac, I don't think I can help you with this... Sorry. I hope someone here can help you.

I guess you'll have to keep renaming .osz files with those characters in them for now.

Edit: Confirming this under low priority for now. If anyone running on mac doesn't get the same behaviour please post.

Try downloading the osz file directly to the songs folder and press F5 to extract it

I'm pretty sure that "Invaid Name" error message is a wine specific error. See t/301261
