Hello! Sorry if there has been a similar problem but I've found nothing relating to this problem so far, so I'm just asking. When I run osu.exe updater, I get this message:

I have re-installed Windows Net Framework twice and re-downloaded it to install it again, only to have to same problem pop up every time I try to run it. I have made sure that all specifications follow or exceed those specified in the requirements and I am running on Windows XP with a wireless modem. I am now playing off the offline version, and I cannot log in as well.

Also, where can I find the osu!.cfg file in order to fix the tablet support problem? I cannot seem to find it anywhere in my driver.

Thanks for your help.

Sounds like a firewall is blocking the osu updater from accessing the internet.

The tablet problem only applies if you've checked the "force tablet" option in Options when you don't have a tablet. osu!.cfg is a file that is automatically generated in your osu folder after you've run the game.

I've disabled the firewall but the same problem still pops up.

However, I found the cfg file, thanks!

The next public version of osu! will at least allow login to bancho without http support (you do need the ability to connect to a tcp port though). Score submission will likely not yet be migrated across, though.

Have you tried the sextastic local installer?

idk if that's going to be any different but MAYBE !!!
Yeah, I'm playing on the offline version but I still cannot connect to the server. It just remains there, stuck, if I try to log in.
