[Archived] Huion 420 Tablet Left Click Held Down While Hovering

I've been using this Huion 420 tablet for about a month now and I've never been able to fix this problem ever since I received the tablet. I've tryed every button mapping combination there was and still the left click stays held down when the tablet reads the pen tip. I know you can just use one of the 2 barrel buttons on the pen, although it'd be much more convenient if I could actually use the tip to click. If anyone knows a solution I would be greatly appreciative for your help! Thanks

This is caused because of windows's stupid way of handling pen input.
Disable windows ink and have a look at the 'pen and touch' settings in your windows control panel.
That should fix it.

I managed to disable Windows ink although that didn't do a thing, it seems that if I check the "Support Tablet PC Feature" the tablet will only register if I hold the tip on the tablet and drag, and doesn't detect it while hovering. I can't find anything in the 'pen and touch' section that will fix the problem.

Wait hold on. I think I misunderstood the issue.

What you're saying is (and this is not how i understood it at first,) that if you hover the pen,
as soon as the pen is able to move the cursor it's like having left click held down all the time?

If so, that's really odd and what I said is (probably) not gonna do anything.

Does this happen everywhere or only in osu!?
Also do you have any drivers/software for it installed?

If it happens only in osu, press f10 (at least this solves it for playing)

I have the standard drivers given to me by Huion, and this happens everywhere and not just Osu!. This tablet has caused a ton of issues and now my pen wont register on the tablet properly after using it perfectly fine for a while, im sick of the problems and i'm most likely going to just get another tablet form a different company. This tablet was also pretty cheap so that may have something to do with it.

I'll just assume the same happens even without drivers (Huion 420 is plug & play) then.
Sounds like a faulty tablet (or stylus) to me to be honest.
If this happens on a different PC aswell (try it out) I would suggest googleing around a bit and see if this is a known issue,
and if you can't find a solution RMA it.

It happened to me when i first got the tablet, don't ever use Huion drivers, those are just useless shits. Try using this http://puu.sh/czgMs/cc5d47f91e.rar ,
Hope it helps.
EDIT: Make sure you delete your current drivers before downloading this one.

That is how TabletPCs are. Mine does the same thing, but I am fine with it because of the fact that you can use it in the least to play the game. Maybe just tapping where needed works best in this case.

i do have this issue with my tablet, i hover over the tablet its like the left click is being held. but i did kinda smash the bit into it, i dont know if i need to replace the pen or the tablet or if its a pc problem but it was working earlier until i smashed it down a little. help?

Chances are if smashed your nib you broke something and will need a new pen.
