Reposting this here since there is no point in bumping a thread in the wrong forum.

First off, I'm using an Intuos CTH-480 S. It's probably important to note that it is newly bought. Other people seemed to have this issue with Windows updates killing their tablet drivers or similar but my tablet drivers have never worked correctly (or not at all?) in the first place. I'm using Windows 7 Service Pack 1.

I can use my pen and the touch feature (although it is insanely inaccurate and the cursor trembles but I've heard this is a driver issue) of the tablet but as soon as I try to change my settings with the "Wacom Tablet settings" program (suppose it's called like that in English) the "Tablet driver not found" window (image not by me but doesn't matter.) pops up. Don't really know where the problem is because of the incredibly astonishing amount of information that error message contains.

Already tried the usual stuff, like replugging, re-installing drivers, restarting pc, restarting the "Wacom Professional Service" driver software. And I'm sure I'm using the correct driver since I got the one from the CD that came with the tablet, so my guess is that the path is not set correctly or something is missing. The drivers on the CD aren't the latest ones, however, I've already tried downloading those from the official Wacom website and they didn't work either; the exactly same message popped up.

I'd be really glad if someone who owns a similar model could post their data structure/file architecture of their Wacom files.

Here's mine:

Wacom should have all the drivers on their website if they sell it as a product.

Official Website : http://us.wacom.com/en/support/drivers/

You should try downloading the drivers from there, and contact them too.

Tried that already.

Contact Wacom Support from the link I gave you above then.

I've had this plenty of times. It happens when the drivers basically overlap and your OS doesn't know which one to use so it doesn't use either one of them. There are a couple of ways around this. The first one should be to uninstall your drivers from the uninstaller (via control panel or original installer) and download the brand new drivers from this link: http://us.wacom.com/en/support/drivers/. Look for this: Note that using the CD that you got with the product will only give you the drivers from when the tablet was released, not the latest ones.

Now, if that didn't work you have 2 more options. It's either physically damaged (inside or out) or then your OS is still struggling on using the correct drivers. Not to worry though, there's a fix for that. I will guide you through a straight forward step-by-step solution :)

1. Open your windows start menu
2. Type in Services
3. Open the program called Services
4. Inside Services, Find "Wacom Professional Service" (tip: if you click Name you can reverse the alphabetization to find it faster since it starts with a W)
<Also make sure that you are in the "Extended" tab opposed to the "Standard" tab
5. Now click on the service and there should either be Start the service OR Stop the service / Restart the service (depending on if you have it on or not)
6.1. If you have Start the service available, then you will be able to just press that and everything will reset.
6.2 If you have Stop the service / Restart the service available> Press stop the service, then once it's done stopping the service, click start service
7. This should ultimately restart the Wacom service, meaning it's drivers and software. Note that if you have any saved presets, you might have to say farewell to them because this could delete them.
Tip: You can also check if the service is started / stopped by right-clicking Wacom Professional Services and going into Properties. From here there is a status monitor that you can view. You can also start, stop or restart the service from within this panel.

I've had the same problem that you're experiencing countless times. The ways that I provided above are what I've been using over the year to make my tablet function. I hope this helped you and from a fellow osu player to another: I wish the best of luck to you on your journey into the world of osu! :)

I had the tremble problem as well and my solution was hitting F10 to turn off mouse clicks on the tablet and keep the nib of the stylus on the tablet at all times. It seemed to completely take care of the trembling. Also, as dumb as it may sound, make sure you in-game sensitivity is at 1 for tablet otherwise it can make it spaz out of control.

I have same tablet as well btw.
