[osu!lazer] Lag spike on raw input eats mouse movement

Problem details:
I'm playing on a pretty terrible laptop (like can barely hold 400fps on stable@720p terrible) and whenever the game lag spikes longer than 20ms or so, it eats whatever mouse movement was made.
While performing faster jumps this will cause me to subsequently miss many circles, making raw input just not playable if I want any ssort of consistency.

If I turn off raw input, this won't happen (lag spikes don't interrupt mouse movement), but I like being able to have a sensitivity slider in game.

Video or screenshot showing the problem:
None currently. Will reply later with a replay demonstrating the problem.

osu! version: Stable 20250815 (latest), latest lazer/tachyon as of post time

I'd suggest you to change your frame limiter to optimal instead of unlimited. Unlimited can cause lag spikes like what you're experiencing even on modern hardware. In this case you want to fix the root of the problem rather than trying to fix your mouses issue. Turn off any background apps while playing (especially discord and any screen capture apps). This is normal behavior for raw input due to how it works i believe. Your sensitivity changes regardless of having raw input on or off but it changes more when you have raw input on. Either way, Its recommended to change your mouse DPI rather than use in-game sensitivity.
