[osu!stable] Osu! is not installing

Problem details: In the summer I downloaded osu! and it was fine. then I deleted it. and now want to download again but the installer is stuck at 8/9/10/11/12% and going up and down. most of the things I have when its stuck: your game client is being updated, downloading avcodec-51.dll, downloading 15 required files.
Lazer osu was the only version I managed to download, but for my laptop it was too much and laggy.

Are you using proxy, VPN or antivirus program? or have you set firewall?

no. I dont have any vpn exept for the browser one

Can you provide update.log in the logs folder?

Can you try to run a VPN during installing osu!?

this vpn works for browser ONLY. It was off when I was downloading osu

Yea I realized your current VPN is only in your browser. but I'd say you to use a VPN program to download osu!stable since there're issues that are out of control with connections from Russia.(you can see more about the issue here)
