I Don't Know What To Do About Hit-Sounding...

So I downloaded the mapset verifier so I can easily see mistakes to fix before submitting maps to be modded. However all diffs have a red "X" due to there being no added hitsounds. Now I know I didn't add hitsounds in the osu editor to notes or sliders, because the normal hit sound "clack" is all i want. I know my osu skin is what gives the "clack" sfx to normal notes, and base osu's sfx is too quiet. So I added the custom normal hitsound to my map, so anyone not using a skin will have that sfx, whilst the normal hitsound of others osu skins wont be affected since the notes play the normal hitsound. However even with the custom hitsound added, the verifier still presents the red "X" for no hitsounds. I don't know what to do... or how other maps work with just normal hit sounds.

Here's the Error:

You Can Find The Map:

I don't really know what to do- I could change the hitsound to be the drum sfx, than I'll make every note a drum one, however anyone with a skin will have the drum snare sfx going off instead of the intended normal hitsound. There's probably something dumb i missed and I'm sorry in advance

Hi, to make a rankable map in osu!standard your map needs hitsounds which according to ranking criteria mean:

Hitsounds consist of an always-present hitnormal sample, and any combination of whistle, finish, or clap sample additions

You should add whistles, finishes and claps where appropriate following the songs intrsuments and vocal by using any hitsounding tutorial

Adding a custom clack hitnormal isn't sufficient.

I see, I guess I'll have to follow a tutorial than to incorporated a varity of hit-sounds. I just didn't know if to, since it just follows the vocals. I'll have to go over it again and see what i can come up with. Thanks

If you're not actually planning on getting your map ranked, you don't necessarily have to add hitsound additions. You can still get feedback/mods on the map if you want to improve it, even with just the base hitsounds.

Thanks alot, i do have it in a mod queue to be modded, And im glad it can still be improved without hit-sounds. But i am aiming for ranking it, as unrealistic as that is for a beginner like me 😅 so i gotta learn hit-sounding. Everystep forward i take, i take another 2 back. but eventually I'll make it to the end, however long that takes ♡⸜(˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝
