[osu!stable] Random difficulties of maps not showing up

Problem details:


Some maps i have downloaded have missing difficulties that can be of any star rating, when i go checked the songs folder i found that there are missing difficulties, deleting and redownloading the maps does nothing. Is there any way to fix this?

Theres missing difficulties in the songs folder? Thats odd. Which map are you trying to download? And which difficulties are not appearing?

Marking as Stable since you seem to play on the osu!stable client

Also make sure you are not filtering your beatmaps by difficulty in the options menu:

There are a few maps that have missing difficulties for me,
beatmapsets/2095242#osu/4393208 top dif
beatmapsets/925343#osu/1935596 almost every dif
beatmapsets/1244324#osu/2628802 only top dif shows up
beatmapsets/2184782#osu/4618186 top dif

And some more which i forgot which

Yeah you probably have your song select star rating limited. Try doing what Marco said. Should be from 0 and upto should be 10+

It isn't well since i have 7 star maps showing and even 1* maps, the songs folders of the maps have some difficulties missing for me and i don't know why that is happening, even after redownloading the maps the difficulties are missing in the folder

Update i managed to download the maps and checked the song folder which had all the difficulties of the maps but the ones that didn't show up previously are still not showing up even with the difficulties in the folder.

Well i found another map with missing difficulties beatmapsets/953015#osu/2020258 and almost all 5* difficulties dissapeared ss/19736199/92e7 for proof that i didn't filter difficulties ss/19736205/c19b

Hmm.. Honestly I'm not sure what the issue is at this point. Can you try running the "repair osu!" file in the installed folder? Not sure if that would do anything but worth giving a try.

I have tried a few times but it didn't fix anything

And another map with the same issues

Hey again, we've now noticed you're currently running difficulty calculations (top right on screenshots). When it's finished it should be all back to normal!
