[osu!stable] random ping spikes (solved)

for a few days now i've been getting constant ping spikes. it never happened before and i didn't change anything in the settings prior. after they started, i tried changing the frame rate limiters, fullscreen, turned off discord overlay, ran osu without any other program running, changed my version to cutting edge, nothing helped. i turned off "reduce dropped frames" and its a bit better, but still really noticable. any ideas?

Did you turn off the medal.tv too? and what's version you are using on stable?

not sure where to see my exact version, but yes i tried with medal turned off and it didnt change anything

you can see the version by scrolling to the bottom of the settings

there is an update on your graphic driver recently. if you did set driver update automatically, please try to rollback your graphic driver's version.

my geforce version is 572.60 which is from february 27th this year

edit: okay i think that was the issue, i cant believe that's what it was xDD at least i didnt get a single spike in about 10 minutes of playing, thank u so much 🙏
