this will be nonsensical because this is more for me because i always forget how i play so this is just a remembrance guide for mine self but you guys might be able to pluck a little info from it as well
your hand has two sections to hit notes the general area (wrists) and precise area (fingers) these two areas compliment each other and the more synergy you master between the two the more you will be able to hit hard patterns
your general area is meant for stamina and rhythm it bases patterns (grounds/very root of a chart) and its best suited to use mostly for patterns like handstream/chordjack/speed
consistency is key for this one because this is the simple "strong dumb" one it should also be noted heavily that general area is great for speed only when you get good at rolling wrists to make a trill like pianists do wrist down is okay but wrist up is much more comfortable due to having more room to move your hand
with precise area its best used when there are either very little notes (accuracy) and very hard songs (extreme bursts) switching precise area and general area is a great way to preserve stamina and hit very fast patterns in quick succession however its difficult to master and mostly unconsciously done (but when done intentionally and correctly it will become quite a formidable technique
i don't have enough ideas and interests in precise area other than this technique so i do not know more preferences other then this is good for accuracy/tech/bursts/control/minijacks/???
its best to only move the very base of the finger to conserve stamina and make control simpler after a certain point almost all that matters is reading stamina and physical speed technique and health is key to improving these
OH and if anyone wants to they can recommend changes and or additions to this id like to make another hub of knowledge here and to improve it every day
