I'm primarily a stable player/mapper, so I don't really know how lazer inheriting section works.

inherited points (more commonly known as green lines) don't exist in lazer, at least not in the same way. in stable, green lines have 3 functionalities: SV, hitsounds and kiai sections. rather than using green lines for everything, lazer has different ways of handling each of them.

SV

when you place your first slider, it has an sv multiplier of 1.00x (that's relative to the map's base velocity, just like in stable). you can then change the sv of the slider by clicking the green blob above the slider in the top timeline. applying a certain multiplier to multiple sliders at once is also possible by simply selecting them first.
now, every slider you place automatically inherits the sv multiplier of the previous slider in the map. so if you want to map a section with a particular sv, just place a slider, change the sv of that slider and you should be good.

tip: you can also change the sv of a slider by shift-dragging the slider end in the timeline (changes duration; preserves length) or shift-dragging the long, yellow half-circle button around the slider end on the playfield (changes length; preserves duration).

HS

hitsounds work similarly to sv (the pink blobs below the objects in the timeline are the hitsounds), but as far as i'm aware there's no way of using custom samplesets in lazer right now, so you're probably still gonna have to use stable for that, at least if you want to use custom samplesets.

Kiai

to start/end a kiai section, go to the timing panel and create a new timing point. uncheck "Timing" and check "Effect".
