Hello!
lately I was doing minor changes to the default skin argon pro, searching for some more visual interactivity.


Here i used "DefaultKeyCounterDisplay" resizing it and hiding the body in a way that the player only sees the glow.

with this I was wondering if it's possible to do a add a similar thing, but covering all the border (like the red low health coloring). I tried to use the object glow but the result is way too disrupting...

it would be cool to add a feature like this, a slight glow that follows the player clicks.

As a side complementing idea, adding a functionality that makes this visual starting to change reflecting something happening in the gameplay (high combo count for example). I imagine something like stars popping from the sides, falling or sparkling faintly when the combo counter is raising enough.

edit: I'm still worried about this being distracting for players, maybe the best way is to add this feature as one side resizable flash object, toggleable to BPM/L-R click. with this, any player can use it and adapt it to their taste.

I hope this idea makes sense for you, I really really love the argon skin and its new sound/visual features!

Edit2: The suggestion was answered by peppy on https://github.com/ppy/osu/discussions/33744 this kind of feature will be added in the future.

yup, probably... I'm worried about that, bc the size I use rn it's just fine. Maybe the best way is to add this feature as a object, so the flashing can be customizable and adaptable to any skin.
