extremely slow slider, like 0bpm kind of slow. It's pretty much a can of worm on its own, so i'd rather let someone else who could explain this better, which i will drop their video below:

As a side note, you should check out how the .osu syntax work, particularly the timing points and the hit objects, because some parameters will play an important role on freely adjusting BPM or slider length without the restraint of the editor (you cannot go below 15bpm in editor for example)

This is really interesting!

If anyone is interested in turning sliders into hitcircles, here's a quick tutorial.

>Select the map you want to edit

>Click <File> in the top left

>Open Song Folder

>Open the OSU-File
(A small note: It's best to open with Notepad++ or another text editor.)

>Search for [HitObjects]

>Copy this line > 256,192,1000,2,2,L,1,40 < and add it under [HitObjects]
Looks like this:

[HitObjects]
256,192,1000,2,2,L,1,40

>Save the file

Back to osu!. There are two ways to import the saved file into osu!. You can either exit the editor and then re-enter, or you can click on test in the bottom right and exit immediately. The 2nd option is faster in my opinion. If you go to exactly 00:01:000, you'll see a hitcircle at the top, which is a slider, and it will be invisible on the playing field.
0 bpm is not necessary here. Unless you want to create a work of art with the sliders like the map "LeaF - Aleph-0" from Pikaquim. Unfortunately I have no experience with this.
