I'm completely new to tablets. Basically I want a way to force mouse mode with tablet usage to be able to up the sensitivity. Because as it stands with pen mode it's next to impossible to do hard maps because of the big big arm motions I have to do to even reach nearby spots. Looking at experienced players videos of playing osu! with a tablet they barely(if at all) move their arm, only small hand motions.

Any help appriciated, and im back to googling.

The only way that exists to up your tablet's sensitivity is to make your tablet area smaller. Only a part of your tablet is used to control the pen, and this way, you can move faster. To do this, you need to open your tablet's official program. This is the configuration I use for my Wacom Intuos 3 :

As you can see, I'm only using a very small area, because when I use my mouse I had set it up to very high sensitivity and this is what I wanted for my tablet too (moreover, this tablet is huge).

If you have any other questions (or need translation), don't hesitate to ask me. I got mine recently too and browsed a lot of topics. :)

But I don't understand why you want to force mouse mode. If you reduce tablet area, then everything's all right, isn't it ?

Yep! thanks :) this did indeed do the trick. as for mouse mode it was because of the "if i move the pen away from the tablet and then put it back down it'll snap the cursor to whichever x-y pos is set on the tablet" (which a mouse doesnt do). Maybe I just need to get used to it i dont know how I feel about it yet, it's not a big deal~

many thanks again.

Well, it sure felt strange to me at first... But now I use my tablet for everything. You'll get used to it with time! ;)

Glad I could help you.
