im getting better at 6k! but now i gotta worry about repetetive strain injury🙁

in terms of physical my wrists, hands and fingers hurt a littke but i can still play at 100% with the pain. in terms of my performance in game im getting a few S ranks on [16]s but mostly A ranks (sightread). if you play 7k then download some 6k map packs thaat have difficulty numbers and try some [16]s. if you dont wanna then id say if i wwre ro convert it to SR it would be between 6.00 and 6.7 stars ish. cant use acrual SR since some [16]s are 2.8 stars and some are 6 stars amd theres probably 7 star [16]s that are chordjack

edit: on school days, i play for 2 hours max and on no school days i play roughly 4 hours split in 2 session

yeah definitely start being mindful of that pain, even if it doesn't feel serious now. I've had similar soreness before when I first got into higher-density stuff, and honestly, the best thing I did was take it seriously early on.

if you're playing a lot of [16]s and pushing yourself consistently, even 2–4 hours a day (especially on weekends) can add up fast. I'd recommend throwing in some hand or wrist stretches before and after you play, nothing fancy, just basic stuff to keep things loose. also, make sure your setup isn’t forcing your wrists into an awkward angle, that alone made a big difference for me.

and yeah, if it’s already hurting mid-session, even if you can still play “fine”, that’s a sign to ease up a bit. better to dial it back now than risk a longer break down the line.

ok ill start stretching before hard stuff and also take "break songs" between [16]s rather than sightreading one after another. ill also start playing every 2nd day

edit: ill only push myself every 2nd day (play stuff that hurts hands) since while i enjoy making roblox obbies and playing them its tiring to make an obby im making since its basically one of a kind that im making for myself so its just a headache and tiring to make

That sounds like a solid plan - hope it works out well for you.

What kind of pain u getting and where on hand you getting? Palm side, back side, on the finger, knuckle, sharp, dull, ache etc.

Just vary between between easy, normal and hard maps. That's how I used to manage hand fatigue. As long as you are self-aware, don't ignore it, know when to end the session or play some easy stuff, then you'll be fine. Just don't ignore it, cause too much fatigue buildup can lead to pain.
