So you all know that I have a Chinese Cooking thread, and as it happens, I also love Japanese cuisine! I've decided to start a new thread dedicated to Japanese cooking.
I've had my fair share of yakitori, which can refer to a variety of chicken parts that are skewered and grilled, then brushed with a sweet and savoury glaze. In particular, tsukune are meatballs made from ground chicken and may even include chicken cartilage for an extra bit of texture! The process of making them is quite interesting, so I've decided to make tsukune as my first Japanese cooking recipe.
The tsukune in the thumbnail were unfortunately not made by me, but I was served them in a restaurant and they were absolutely delicious. Meatballs made from chicken or turkey are notorious for usually being dry, but I can assure you these are moist and juicy meatballs to die for! My tsukune definitely don't look quite as good as in the thumbnail, but I promise they taste just as good. The full recipe, including the ingredients you need, is shown in the video. I hope you make them!
