Problem details:How do I add a gif to my profile banner since every single time I upload a gif it just sits at the first frame like a png,,,

osu! version: Stable 20250309.2 (latest)

Hi! You need to convert .gif to .png (apng converter), also it should be under ~87kb (that is likely why it not working).

I've made my apng to 30kb and it still wont work 😭😭😭😭

Try resizing the gif to exactly 2000x500 resolution

My file was 3,68 mb and worked! I tried a lot to optimize the size file, but it was really hard

resize it into 2000x500 exactly, mine's like around 2mb but still it worked.

since gifs are not officially supported, and the methods for them to work are constantly changing, all that remains is to try all known options or better not to do it at all until they are supported
