Question:How to spin faster?

I have played osu! for about 20 days and my spinnings are still bad. :?
I can just spin about 200-300 spin per minute only and I have a HUGE score difference between me and other players. :(
Is there any technique for spinning faster? :o

Spin circles as small as you can while you still use all your strength to do the motion.

If you want to spin way faster than what's required to clear most spinners, you can use your whole arm to spin. Over-spinning gives negligible score bonus in any map that is not very short (specially in maps harder than Easy/Normal), so it's only necessary when trying to beat a score that is already an SS with the same mods.

You can spin big circles with a mouse, it's how mouse users at the top 50 spins in easy difficulty but you need a stable table to do well at this
For tablet, when I spin, I move a bit away from the centre then forces myself to burst spin (it's not a perfect circle and tends to go up and down)
Niko and rrtyui does it way better than I do, maybe it's the way they hold the pen itself

When spinning, make sure the center of the spinner is contained in the area of the circle you are spinning (that way the spinner doesn't lose speed from spinning backwards). Having a skin with a small and visible spinner center helps with that.

The mouse users that spin big circles and spin fast usually use high dpi (so even a small circle motion is shown as a big circle in-game), spinning big circles isn't as effective as spinning small circles. Spinning even smaller is only worse when you can't apply all the force you could apply to the movement.

Also, while circles is the most effective shape, slowing down just to try to make the shape better is worse than spinning ellipses as fast as you can.

Do you have replays where Niko or rrtyui are seen spinning as fast as they can? They usually seem to consider spinners as break time.

Nope but they pretty much spin around 400 rpm most of the time, you can watch rrtyui in Nico live stream and Niko on youtube
They may not spin as fast as they can cause they don't want to focus too much on the spinner and lose accuracy afterwards

From what I watched, they probably spinned fast because of the momentum from DT, but what amazes me is how long they can maintain it even if it's less than five seconds

You could try to spin by moving your wrist instead of your entire arm, that always seems to help me spin faster.

What muscles do the good mouse players use to spin? I'm not sure to use my arm, arm/wrist or wrist/fingers. And I am miserable at spinners, I get 200-300 rpm max, and sometimes for whatever reason I can't break past 200...

Somewhere between the arm and the shoulder? If it's slow just focus on smaller circle, if it's fast then just let it fly

When I try this method, my max. spinnig speed have 332 SPM now. Thx a lot. :)
BTW, I just use my frot ar to moe the mouse to spin. Is mmy method made my speed so slow? Wait for opinions :P

The point difference is probably caused by accuracy and mods more than spinning.

Using time to practice spinning is a waste if you want to actually get good at the game. As long as you can pass the spinners, you're fine. You'll learn to do it faster overtime.
