No need for an extra channel, it's just that it's new and very hyped right now. Haven't seen team advertisement in chat myself yet but... I also haven't been much online (let's change that). Feel free to link this thread: Advertise your TEAM here!

Yes, but even after a few months people will still want to join a team, and there are no methods to find one currently. Also, nobody will ever discover a random forum post.

Hm, we can think about adding it to the !faq chat command if chat tends to get flooded with team ads. What do you think?ZenoGG wrote:

If peppy plans to add another recruitment system (like search), this may be good enough. But I'm not sure how many people use !faq or even know that it exists. I didn't until now.
Also, maybe the forum post should be pinned. It currently isn't.

The thread is pinned (but in General Discussion forums). 
Conlusion after some internal talk: We're most likely not adding a new channel. It's okay when people post about their team honestly as long as they're not spamming.
If anything, there could be a new !faq command (used by chat moderators) which would led to the thread but until actions like this have to happen, let some time pass, maybe we're getting a few more features in the future?
