I have no idea how to skin or what even goes into skinning. But I want to remove instafade from a skin.

I seen on Reddit that someone said to put // before Version and in skin.ini. I did, but it looks strange when playing. Help would be much appreciated.

Well that's one way of doing it, but that essentially reverses the skin.ini version to 1.0, which had fading out hitcircle numbers. But that's missing A LOT of new skin functionalities and will mess things up if the skin you're using has any sort of extensive UI skinned.

The only other way would be to do it properly. Where you have to separate the Hitcircle and Hitcircleoverlay from the numbers and put them into their own respective files. So you're gonna have to tinker with some image editing if you want to do that.

Thank you, I was about to try to make the hit circle and numbers on my own. I’m not sure exactly how to do it, but I’m sure it’s on online somewhere. I’ll figure it out.
