While on the song select when you do crtl + c, you get the song URL (with the diff selected tab). Pasting a url (supporter only(?)) loads it in the Osu!Direct. Pasting might be a bit harder because it will paste into the search but just check if it's an osu url.
This is mostly to save time instead of making to clicks to get the map url, but I suppose it could be good in the long run. I can't think of anything that would counteract it (other binds, and whatnot.)
