when i try to download new beatmaps they open in lazer instead of stable i was playing in lazer earlier but switched back. lazer mode is not enabled. also just found out same thing happens to saved replays.

found a small fix but it still doesn't fix the issue. i just started dragging the maps and replays into stable

(Fixed: right click beat map <properties < open with < osu!)

osu! version: Stable 20240123 (latest)

press 'repair permissions' in osu! stable.

It doesn't work for me, downloaded beatmaps always open osu!lazer instead of osu!stable.

osu! version: Stable 20240123 (latest)

Download a beatmap file, r-mouse button and activate open with, then select osu! and choose always.

Delete osu!lazer that fixed it for me.

.osz files are programmed to open in lazer instead of stable if they are double clicked to open.

If you drag and drop it into the stable client it will work just fine.
