Looking for mods or BATs, the map hasn't been bubbled yet, any comments or tests are appreciated!*

[General]
  1. you need an Easy diff or at least an easier Normal diff.
    the current one is too hard, it has to have a rating of 3.27 stars or lower (iirc).
    it might be 3.1 or sth like this.
[Normal]
hmh, the way you intend this map to be is rather nice, I like it, but I think you've gotta fix some things here and there.
  1. decrease AR and OD, it's too high for the easiest diff
    I'd suggest AR4 and OD3, up to you!
  2. generally I guess it's better to avoid overlaps like the ones you have in your map.
    I mean the overlaps cause of DS. I know it's rather high already buuut I think it works better if you increase it anyway.
    on the right side it looks just more structured, cause you have clear borders and the objects aren't glued to each other.
  3. I'd actually prefer if you decrease the SV as well. ><
    I don't want to sound rude in any way, it's just that I think it fits better. orz
    but all of that is up to you, I think I'd go with 0.9SV and 1,8DS.. which is ok for a Normal imo. if mapped correctly!

    that's just the more "general" stuff, moving on ~
  4. 00:19:396 (1,2) - personally I like sliders that move oppsoite directions
    but for the easies diff it might not work that well
    cause it kinda breaks the flow, place 2 a bit further up, around 241|1 maybe? that's round out the movement
    the same here - 00:28:996 (3,4) - why not let them circle around each other like 00:30:596 (1,2)?
    and 00:47:196 (3,1) - place 1 further down maybe?
  5. 00:25:796 - you could add break time here. it's not necessary,
    but it gives the player some kind of successful feeling. and I's like that as a beginner. :D
  6. 00:32:196 (1,2,3,4,5) - there are 5 circles, you could include 1 into the pattern

    also, you could map the last bit of the song as well. It's not that long and totally mapable!
    just consider it, the song is really really short already! :c

I like this diff, it has a nice feeling to it. o,o
some minor suggestions
  1. cause you've changed AR and OD for Normal you could decrease them here a bit, too
    maybe AR6, OR5, that way you have 3/4/3 for Normal, 6/6/5 for Hard and 7/8/7 for Insane
    and -imo- that's a nicer overall spread than 3/4/3, 6/7/7, 7/8/7!
  2. next thing is: try to work as accurate as possible, take a look here for example: 00:06:596 (1,2,3)
    if you pay attention to the approach circles you can match the objects perfectly!
    or 00:08:196 (1,2,3)there are more, but I'll find them yourself. xD
  3. 00:10:796 (3,4) and 00:12:396 (3,4) - imo it's nice if you keep the pattern,
    so either stack 00:10:796 (3,4) or move 00:12:596 (4) a bit to the left, next to 00:12:396 (3).
  4. 00:16:396 (5) - Ctrl + G? moevement from 4 to 5 is better that way and the jump to 6 is fine as well

    btw, I just noticed, but did you use different DS at some parts?
    I mean, it's fine, but personally I prefer to stick to one and patterns like the one just now work perfectly fine with same DSor did the editor screw up again and DS is actually 1.0?
  5. 00:18:596 (4,5,6) - remove 5? just sounds better to me
  6. 00:20:196 (3) - the shape could need some work, it looks so random >:

    orthis one's just symmetrical. (pay attention to having the red anchor in the middle! (red tick))
    same goes for 00:21:596 (7) and 00:24:596 (9)
  7. 00:39:796 (3,4) - match the slider somehow with the circle? it looks left out atm. :c

  2. 00:28:996 (1,2,3) - round them out a bit?
    you could place a cirlce in the middle and use the approach cirlce as a guideline
    screen

    (4 is the circle I placed there, delete it afterwards!)
  3. 00:36:796 (3) - same as in Hard - make sure the red anchor is either on a red tick or in this case the blue tick!
    it's not a rule or anything, but looks better imo, cause you have a clear 1/2 or 3/4 devision of the slider that way.
    (and that's more pleasing to the eye. >w<)
  4. 00:42:796 (5) - match with 00:42:196 (3) or 00:41:796 (1)
  5. 01:05:796 (1,2,3) - ctrl+g for 2 and move 3 to 240|312 (to create triangle with 1+2)

I can't seem to find anything too specific about it, but it seems like it should be lower than my normal is right now. I'll consider making an easier difficulty then.     and 00:47:196 (3,1) - place 1 further down maybe? Repositioned these a little bit, similar to the ones on 00:19:396
  5. 00:25:796 - you could add break time here. it's not necessary,
    but it gives the player some kind of successful feeling. and I's like that as a beginner. :D I feel like short breaks like these are confusing to beginners, I remember I never noticed the blinking arrows after the break was over so I'd prefer to keep it like this.
  6. 00:32:196 (1,2,3,4,5) - there are 5 circles, you could include 1 into the pattern I intended it this way, wasn't trying to make a specific shape pattern, just a good flow.

    also, you could map the last bit of the song as well. It's not that long and totally mapable!
    just consider it, the song is really really short already! :c Decided to map the ending, included in all difficulties. It decreased the difficulty of normal to 3.04, now I'm not sure if I need an easy D:
but I definitely will come back to this map and mod the rest of it, hopefully I get it done tomorrow. I'll edit this post and include the rest then, I'll give you kd now since you already helped a lot!

    I did change the DS, imo the increase in SV makes the distance awkward and too fast, so lowering the DS balances it out better.

I can barely listen to the song...

I dont like this hitsounding (custom hitnormal), and the custom clap is almos unlistenable

  1. 00:14:596 (1) - there are some weird overlaps with some objects, like this with 00:15:396 (4) - , dunno if that is a big deal with the new skin (I totally hate it), because I still use the old one, better check that
  2. 00:28:196 (4,5,6,7) - I really dont see the point of the random spacing from here, tip: if you really want random spacing better make it symmetrical for it to be more simple to read on this AR
  3. 00:32:796 (4) - this is really hard to see like this, I was expecting it to be near to 00:33:196 (6) - for a kick stair with the other circles

Pointing hitsounding again: for this diff I would put a lots of whistles instead of that ulistenable clap I personally barely notice the clap because it blends well with the actual song.

The spacing is too high! It's a normal, for the overall speed of the song and sliders the spacing is fine, and the star rating is fine. It also reduced to 3.00 after a change below.

The map isn't too hard for what it's supposed to by, and I don't intend to destroy the rhythm or make it any less fun just to change an already inaccurate number.
  6. 00:30:596 (1) - make it single circle Breaks the rhythm and makes it confusing.
  7. 00:32:196 (1,2,3,4,5) - too many circles in a row, plus is a complicated pattern for a [Normal] diff It's not too many and the pattern is nothing special or confusing. I'd prefer to keep it, but if more people complain, I'll consider changing it.
  8. 00:36:796 (2,3) - make (2) a single circle Not changing, same reason as 00:30:596 (1)
  9. 00:41:796 (1) - ^ ^
  10. 00:43:596 (3) - ^ ^

Small update after the testplays, changed 00:27:996 (2,3,4,5,6) (edit: I mean on Hard difficulty) into a star pattern, to make it more readable even though I don't like star patterns that much.

Hi, from my modding queue here.

General

  1. Um.. It seems quite rare for such a short song lacking an Easy, why not create one? 8-)
  2. Another thing which bothers me is the hitsound. The soft-hit in the prelude is really not appropriate imo. Why I say this? The lyrics seem quite relaxed but the hit sounds a bit heavy. Try something like soft whistle? Feel free to ignore this. :D

Insane

  1. Honestly, I think those triplets are overmapping, eg. 00:15:896 (6) - 00:17:496 (5), etc. When delete all those notes, especially circles on blue lines, I cannot clearly hear there are any vocal or instruments! So, maybe I think you want to increase difficulty of this Insane. However, I don't recommend you to do so, instead, try make spacing more challenging at suitable places. I skip those triplets from now on.
  2. 00:25:196 - I would prefer adding a circle here for better flow.
  3. 00:47:596 (5) - NC for indicating you are doing some tricky 1/2 patterns instead of streams.

I skip those triplets from now on. I like the triplets because they fit the beat the song has, similar to the sound of clap I used. Those parts really stand out and sort of demand attention.
  2. 00:25:196 - I would prefer adding a circle here for better flow. Added, and moved 7 a bit cause it felt weird after that.
  3. 00:47:596 (5) - NC for indicating you are doing some tricky 1/2 patterns instead of streams. Added.

  2. 00:12:996 (1) - Instead of having a whistle here, it would be more fitting to have a finish
  3. 00:18:196 (2,3) - This flows kind of bad, how about putting (3) at x328 y240 and 00:18:996 (4,5,6) - at x192 y144, This way you keep the jump here and create a nice flow
  4. 00:19:396 (1) - Same as before, a finish sounds a ton better than a whistle in this song

They don't make insanes any easier and they don't make normals any harder, their purpose is to accompany the song where no other object would do such a good job.

Nice mapset. I like how the jumps are all smooth, and not overdone :)

It used to be a full triangle, but as suggested by a previous modder, I stacked the last two for better gameplay. My 5 was a little off, so I fixed that, and put the 1,5 stack in the middle, I'll see how that works out though.

00:35:998 (2,3) - doesn't flow well, i suggest rearrange (2) or just take out the repeat and add a circle Made 2 face upwards instead.

I suggest to use the approach circle of the next slider as reference: try something like this (I make a before-after, to make you see what I mean exactly) (this is mostly just for precision, but I think it will give the map a better look in some parts :3)
- 00:10:398 (2) - also here: look at the form of this slider: I moved one of the thick of the slider to make the curve more soft. I think you can try it sometimes, just to give the map that little incentive, because I think the map itself is good

A short slider like that might be confusing to new players, since they could barely tell it's a slider probably, and I kinda like it the way it is anyway.

- 01:06:998 (5) - move this one grid down to have the exactly same inclination of 01:06:198 (2,3) - Fixed.

- 00:08:198 (1,3) - blancket can be improved, just like in the hard diff. Again, seems fine to me.
- 00:11:998 (2,3) - here the same Fixed this one.
- 00:17:798 (1,2) - ^ Fixed.
- 00:19:398 (1) - hm... I'm not convinced here the reverse slider fit. maybe is better delete the reverse... anyway is just a suggestion. It follows the triple theme from before, it's a pretty convenient place for it and I think it fits rather well.
