I like both, I can play both of them just not together, DT is my favourite mod because I'm a scummy DT farmer:). HR is just fun to play if I think the map is boring.
I say both, playing everything this game has to offer makes the game not repetitive and also a rounded skillset is just good all around.

dt if its ar8.5 or below, hr if its ar8.6 or above (ar8.5 + dt = ar10)
mapping-wise i prefer dt because hr's vertical flip messes up storyboards that put glow and stuff on the hitobjects
