Alot of my songs happen to be extremely quiet so whenever I even miss one note my ears bleed with the annoying BUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
How do you change it or make it something else because I've seen people with different skins and sounds and I mean as the default not skins along with songs.

I wasn't sure where else to put this post so sorry if it's in the wrong one.

Should be posting at the Skinning Support.

If you want to change the sound when you miss, you need to put an audio file named "combobreak" (with a format of mp3/wav) on your used skin.

I'm a bit late here, but I'll post for everyone that wants the same thing--

(THIS WILL NOT WORK UNLESS YOU HAVE A SKIN!)

Open a sound recorder app (For Windows 10/11, it's a preinstalled app, literally called "Sound Recorder", and this is the one we'll be using in this guide).

Before starting the recording in said app, click on "..." in the top right corner, then "Settings", then "Recording Format" and choose .WAV (It must be .wav !).

Go back to the Sound Recorder menu, unplug your microphone and press record, and stop the recording after 1 second. (You must rename the recording "combobreak"!) Once you're done, press "..." again and click on "Show In Folder". It'll bring you to the folder where the recording was saved.

The final step is easy -- find your osu! installation folder, open it and click on "Skins". Next, find your skin folder (you can check what skin you're using from the osu! settings menu) and open it. Delete the "combobreak.wav" file and replace it with the recording you've just made.

Make sure you restart osu!, and instead of the ear-piercing miss sound, you'll be met with pure silence upon combobreak. Yay!

Bye bye!!
