Maximizing Comfort/Minimizing Fatigue?

So I'm getting to a point in my play quality where muscle tenseness and fatigue limits how well I can play the game. Do you guys have any recommended posture or key positions meant to prevent discomfort while playing?

I'm currently using a tablet and mechanical keyboard with only slightly elevated keys. I used to use a regular keyboard which had keys that required a bit of depression to push and that caused immense fatigue when doing faster/longer streams. The mechanical keyboard has helped a little bit but ultimately after about 30-40 minutes of playing I can definitely feel muscle tenseness in my tapping hand.

On my tablet hand I often feel cramped at the point where I rest my hand on the tablet. My index and middle fingers often cramp after a while too. Ultimately my tapping hand is the bigger sufferer of the two and only on songs with lots of big jumps do I find my pen hand getting tired.

I feel like this is an issue that could be solved with better posture. Does anyone have tips for posture improvement?

Key positioning and tablet hand/grip is basically what ever is most comfortable for you. Also, taking breaks everyone once in a while will help out a lot. One thing I do is I stretch my fingers, wrists, and forearm which relieves some tension.

I become really tense when I get really nervousness (which happens every map that I'm about to full combo). I just try to stay really relaxed and focus on the map and the music rather than missing and thinking about what my hands are doing. Sometimes it works; sometimes it doesn't.

Thanks for the link. After I needed to take a couple days of break due to intense hand pain a month or so ago I've started doing stretches like you mentioned almost all of the time to relieve tension that same way. Since then I haven't had any moments of real pain, just minor discomfort and fatigue. That link was useful too - I didn't really think about my sitting posture much.

I also get tense when I get nervous but my mind is so overactive that I just can't let go of that nervous feeling. I appreciate the help!
