[Archived] Resolution not supported?

Problem details:
Whenever I launch the game, I get an error box that says it was unable to change my resolution and that it may be unsupported by my display or graphics card.

My current main monitor is 2560x1440, however Osu only seems to run at 3840x2160, which isn't even an option I can choose, it just automatically sets it at launch.

Any help is appreciated.

Graphics drivers are up to date.
osu! version: Stable 20221208.5 (latest)

Can you try changing your resolution to something else listed in the options menu and then restarting to see if that gets the error to stop appearing? You should probably be able to switch it back to 2560x1440 afterwards if that works.

It starts up at the correct resolution now, but the fullscreen doesn't seem to be working correctly. Only takes up like 40% of the screen as shown here:

Were you using windowed before? Fullscreen and windowed can be set to different resolutions, so if you just toggled fullscreen on, try changing its resolution as well.

If that doesn't work though, I believe in the past when this same issue has appeared it's been due to something graphics driver related. Maybe a reinstall/repair of your graphics card drivers is in order in that case. That should just involve redownloading the drivers and running their installer, I doubt anything more is necessary.
