wip/pending

if i marked my map as "wip" when i submit to the website, will i be able to change it back to "pending" when i finish it?"

and if i added a new difficulty to my beatmap after submitting it, would it show up on the osu website?

You can update to "Pending" by updating the map. Just do File -> Upload Beatmap and it will ask you if it's a wip or pending again.

Yes, if you add a new difficulty on an already submitted beatmap you will see it as a new difficulty on the map on the website
