Hey there! I'm AndrewRK (Discord: @enfdltjaks), a pretty intermediate level mapper (if I'm allowed to call myself that; check my profile and judge for yourself). I find it really fulfilling to help guide newer mappers in some of what I would consider the fundamentals of mapping (rhythm, visuals, contrast, etc.) or to help other beginner/intermediate mappers develop their mapping to more advanced levels.
Unlike many other modders, I will provide you with real-time feedback. You can ask questions, make rebuttals, ask me to rephrase something, etc.

1) Finished beatmaps only!
—1a) Unfinished sets are fine. For finished sets I will only look at one difficulty!
—1b) I will not mod a guest difficulty in your set, but I am open to modding a guest difficulty of yours on another set.
2) Must be able and willing to listen to me in Discord VC (English only).
—2a) If you want to type instead of talk to respond then that's fine!
—2b) Assume it will take somewhere between 1-3 hours.
3) Your Discord ID must be on your profile or you must send it to me in a PM on osu!. If I accept your request, please message me via osu! first and then send me a friend request on Discord. Make sure to check back in on this thread intermittently after posting in it.
—3a) If you don't contact me within one week of me accepting, then I may withdraw my decision. Nothing personal, but I don't wanna feel like I'm waiting for people and I certainly don't wanna go out of my way hunting you down lol.
4) You only get to be accepted here in this thread once. After that you can request further mods on any other future beatmaps from me through Discord DMs.
—4a) If I don't accept your request you may continue to request mods from me, just don't post the same beatmap again and again lol.
5) You must directly address any guidelines you don't meet (e.g. mention that you don't have 250h of play time, or that your map is a cut version) in your post.
If it's clear you didn't read through this though then I'll give you a warning where I respond and let you know which rule you're breaking. After two warnings I'll blacklist you or something lmao I dunno it'll be case-by-case.

I'm looking for general feedback on my mapping. I haven't finished a beatmap in a while and I felt especially satisfied with the end product of this one.
Guidelines
Your submission should generally meet all of the following guidelines barring some exceptions. Do not assume you are exempt from these, but feel free to post your beatmap even if you're not sure!1) You should have at least 250h of play time or have at least 3,000pp. Otherwise your inexperience might make it too difficult for me to explain even basic mapping concepts in a digestible way.
2) Your beatmap should be Insane or higher difficulty. I'm not comfortable giving feedback to anything Normal or below, and Hard difficulties will be on a case-by-case basis for me.
3) Hitsound your beatmap, or at least adjust the volume so that they're not all at 100% volume. If it's not hitsounded, I am likely going to comment on it, and if it's all at 100% volume then I am going to complain about it lol.
4) You should have NO Ranked (or to a lesser extent Loved) beatmaps (includes guest difficulties). I prefer to help newer and less established mappers first.
5) Whichever song you choose should be the full version and not a TV Size, cut version, short version, etc. Shorter beatmaps in general aren't really my style. I feel that they don't allow for as much room in defining and developing ideas.
6) If your song heavily features explicit lyrics/content then I would like to know your age. Depending on the song and your age, I might not be comfortable sitting in a VC with you while replaying parts of it over and over lol.
Oh wow, you found the secret strats box! Here are some tips that will make me more likely to select your beatmap!
1) I prefer modding beatmaps of songs that are from music not typically found in the game.
—1a) If the song you mapped isn't in Japanese I'm more likely to check it out, generally speaking.
2) Beatmaps in the 3:00-4:00 range are my sweet spot!
3) Any signs of effort like a custom background, proper hitsounding, etc. will GREATLY increase my chances of accepting your request.
4) If you want some EXTRA priority (I will message you if I accept you), prove you read this far by posting the first two letters of your username and the first two numbers of your user ID (your user ID is the numbers at the end of your profile URL) at the bottom of your reply.
