I'm not very familiar with the ranking or modding system, and i'm wondering if theres something beginner mappers can do to get their map out there if it isn't ranked or qualified, besides putting it in every modding queue i see.
This also works the most effective because first maps of a songs always have large number of plays no matter the map is utter trash or great piece, as long the song you're mapping is a hit in a large communityAgllius wrote:
play it in multi lobby is a cringe movement kekw
well you can be a fastest mapper to upload a map that the music/song itself is already getting attention, most of the osu play after listening will be just {search:[name] osu map}
or you need to make something really fun or interesting to play

To get people you don't know to play your map: Map a popular song and/or have it played by a famous player. The majority of maps that get ranked have little to no plays before qualified, and many ranked maps never get popular due to song choice and/or no expected reward (such as pp).
As a mapper, try caring less about other people playing your map and more about creating maps that you like looking at and/or playing. If you value your art (in this case mapping), then you'll be satisfied with it no matter how popular it is.
